THE HOLY GHOST AND TONGUES

You do not receive the Holy Ghost automatically by only believing. It is a separate, but dynamic experience that is part of the New Birth that was prophesied in the Old Testament.

The promise of the Holy Ghost fell for the first time in the book of Acts.

The Holy Ghost is necessary for salvation and the Holy Ghost experience is a part of the New Birth experience.

The singular, common sign of the baptism of the Holy Ghost was speaking in tongues.
